This session provides a critical update to prior analytics of the value proposition of private LTCI. The value to
consumers, public payers and caregivers is evaluated. The financial value built up in existing inforce coverage, the
adequacy of coverage relative to expenses and the cost of insurance vs. the cost of self-funding are explored.
