AJCH - The New Methods for Submission, Review, and Revision
Stephen Lankton, MSW, DABH-Sunday

Audio Sample:

With the completion of the July of 2011 issue of the American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis (AJCH), Taylor & Francis will become our new publisher. They will handle everything from subscriptions and distribution to compilation of reviews, editing, and revisions. This is a large gain for AJCH in terms of increased readership, subscriptions, professional viability, and more. It comes with a small price, however, of migrating our practices of submission, review, and editing to the T&F software and online interface. In this workshop I will demonstrate the interface and teach how to use it for submission, reviewing, and editing. It is important that all members of the Journal's Editorial Advisory Board attend one of these 2 repeated workshops if at all possible. In addition, prospective authors should attend so as to learn how to submit with this new interface and what the review and editing process will be like for their manuscripts.

At the conclusion of this workshop, the participant should be able to:

- Submit manuscripts into the Taylor & Francis system;
- Understand log on and review of existing manuscripts; and
- Understand what is needed for an acceptable manuscript as a case report, multiple case study, empirical research, or theoretical article for AJCH.
