Medical emergencies can, and do, occur in the dental office environment. This course will efficiently prepare the dental office and staff to recognize and manage those emergencies that might arise. As the occurrence of cardiovascular problems, such as chest pain (angina pectoris and myocardial infarction) and sudden cardiac arrest, is likely to increase with the aging of the American population, these problems will be addressed in considerable depth.
