The viability of periodontal procedures and the popularity of dental implant therapy have been valuable adjuncts in the treatment of periodontal disease and the restoration of edentulous areas. However, decisions relative to the proper technique and timing for soft and hard tissue remain. This course will discuss and demonstrate the regeneration of hard and soft tissue to retain compromised teeth, and to optimize dental implant therapy. The role of immediate dental implant therapy also will be discussed. A variety of cases also will be presented to illustrate certain techniques.
