Technology has changed the way we function on a daily basis. New products are constantly being introduced and many of them are free of charge. Some of these apps (programs) are available over a variety of platforms (phone, tablet, computer, iOS, Android, Windows). Many of these apps can be combined with traditional methods of genealogy research and play a role in preserving our family story for future generations. Use of these apps can be a way to involve multiple generations and increase cooperation between family members.
