Guts and Psychology - Laura Villanti

Sample:

Laura will explain the GAP Syndrome or GAPS, which stands for Gut and Psychology Syndrome/ Gut and Physiology Syndrome. She will share how and why learning disabilities and mental problems develop in children and adults with particular emphasis on the role of gut dysbiosis in these conditions. In addition to the well published psychological and neurological disorders, there will be an explanation of autoimmune problems, allergies, asthma, eczema, MS, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic cystitis, arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic skin problems and many other physical conditions. This session will not only explain how these conditions stem from an imbalance in the gut, but will also explain the GAPS Nutritional protocol. The GAPS Nutritional Protocol is highly successful in helping those with learning disabilities, other mental problems and the many physiological issues listed above. This session is based on the work of Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, MD and her book Gut and Psychology Syndrome: Natural Treatment for Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Depression and Schizophrenia.

Laura Villanti is a Certified GAPS Practitioner, Certified Healing Food Specialist and a Chapter Leader for the Rochester NY chapter of the Weston A Price Foundation. She has been sharing the GAPS Nutritional Protocol with families since 2007, after having heard Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride speak at the annual Weston A Price conference. She has a private practice in Rochester that focuses on educating, guiding and supporting clients with the GAPS protocol. Over the years, she has helped many families, both local and around the US, who have had great success with GAPS.
