In this discussion, we present our latest results. We have performed over 4000 cases at our institute. These include both PRP and bone marrow aspirate concentration injections (BMAC). We have performed 1200 BMAC injections all of which were accompanied by Adipose Stem Cell injections. Approximately 3700 PRP injections were performed. In these 3200 PRP injections 66% of the cases also had Adipose Stem Cell injections via either a fat graft and/or SVF. The BMAC cases were performed for a variety of conditions the majority being for osteo arthritis. For all injections (both BMAC and PRP) performed 90% also had an injection of 0.2mg Human Growth Hormone into the injection site (the use of Human Growth Hormone intra-articularly comes from the work of Dr. Allan Dunn of Miami). The results which we obtained were as follows Knees= 86% excellent results, Hips=82% excellent results, shoulder results were about 83% improvement, and muscle and tendon injuries approached 90% improvement. These numbers represent the amount of improvement over the pre injection status as graded by the physician and patient. The results for the PRP group were fairly similar. Thus we have demonstrated an easy, reliable and reproducible method to obtain optimal results for musculo-skeletal problems in an office setting. Traditionally these conditions were many times treated with surgery. The physician is given the indications of when to use BMAC verses PRP.
