Incorporating somatic and cognitive elements, specific hypnotic practical applications will be described, including an integration of conceptualizations from the fields of neurofeedback and Eastern meridians. Using a mindfulness based approach combined with information based on physiology and neuroscience, Dr. Hart will share personal case examples illustrating the use of hypnosis in implementing the Trauma Resiliency Model. An experiential group component will be provided demonstrating the process of effecting a bodily shift, returning the body and mind back to balance, using explicit focusing techniques.
