The 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, a.k.a. Obamacare, brought unprecedented inclusion for integrative health concepts and practitioners. Now it's 2014 and the Act is officially the law of the land. This session will examine advances and challenges of this inclusion in the areas of non-discrimination (Section 2706), essential health benefits, medical homes, prevention, health promotion, team care, pain management, and research methods.
