This interactive session will provide an overview of the recently updated NFPA program, Remembering When™. The program is designed to help fire and life safety educators, along with home health partners, deliver important safety messages regarding fall and fire prevention to older adults through group presentations and home visits. Session participants will learn strategies to develop community partnerships, enhance presentations, and bolster home visits. Special circumstances related to the older adult population will be discussed. After the presentation, participants will be able to easily access tools to implement Remembering When™ in their own communities.
