This session will present examples of fire truck accessibility issues and how they were engineered to meet the IBC. The examples will cover fire truck dimensions, minimum turning radius requirements, and distance required for fighting industrial and nonindustrial fires. Also addressed will be standard requirements such as dead-end limitations, width of access roads, and load bearing requirements for the road material.
