Life-threatening emergencies can occur anytime, anywhere, and to anyone. This course will discuss the preparation of the office and staff, including the office emergency kit (drugs and equipment). It will also review the management of specific emergency situations, including altered consciousness, respiratory distress, seizures, and drug-related emergencies. All members of the dental team can benefit from this course and be prepared for emergency situations in and outside of the dental practice.
