Learn how Novant Health implemented a culture of compassion to alleviate patient suffering in a large health system. The process started with a steering committee and utilized the combined support of the executive team, the office of patient experience and physician leadership as well as 100 facilitators from its corporate education team, and was launched to the hospitalist team in tandem with the nursing program. Their overall approach and the supporting content were purposefully designed to enhance team member engagement.
