This course will review the diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient selection for basic oral surgical procedures. Emphasis on putting the needs of the patient first, including management of medical comorbidities. Straightforward and complex extraction techniques for single teeth and impacted third molars and basic oral surgery, including, biopsies, tori removal, frenectomies, dental implant placement, and socket grafting, will be discussed.
