12197 (401) Talk Like an MBA Part 2
Denise Chamberlain, CPA
Abstract
Administrative and financial management is a foreign language to most clinical managers. Many have never received formal training in those areas and those that did probably had a few classes in college long before they ever began working as a nurse. But Administration keeps talking to them like they should understand; asking questions, demanding explanations, and requesting information that seems way too confusing. At the conclusion of this presentation, the attendees will have a basic foundation to build a bridge between the clinical care and the Administration to communicate in the same language and make working together better and more successful and less stressful for all.
