According to the document, Sing to the Lord: Music in Divine Worship, "the musical formation of the assembly must be a continuing concern in order to foster full, conscious and active participation" in the liturgy. This means that musical formation is not just for the choir but for everyone. How can parishes form their assemblies so that vibrant sung participation is the norm? This session explores how to improve our singing and to be more attentive to sacred music's role in the liturgy, so that, as the gathered body of Christ, we may lift our voices in praise to God in the manner our Church envisions.
