A confirmation candidate once said to me, "It's our Mass, why can't we sing what we want?" This workshop will address that question along with countless others faced by those called upon to prepare sacramental liturgies. Teachers, catechists and non-musicians are invited to delve into the Church's music documents to explore the why, what and how of selecting and preparing music for First Communion and Confirmation.
