Studies constantly observe that over 50 percent of tasks assigned in any given week are not finished on time. Clemson Professor Roger Liska has found that 20 percent of a worker’s time is spent waiting on materials, equipment, or information. This inefficiency is a strangle hold on contractor’s profitability. This program addresses this critical challenge of inefficiency and offers proven strategies to help roofing contractor substantially improve their efficiency and profitability. What contractor wouldn’t become substantially more profitable if its labor costs could be reduced by 10 to 15 percent? While most of the causes for inefficiency can be eliminated or at least significantly reduced, most of are not even addressed because the contractor is focused on the wrong issues. This program will explain how to change your approach to project management to improve your profitability. Session material will be presented at the intermediate level for all size companies.

Learning Objectives:

1. Identify what’s causing your company’s inefficiency so they can be removed

2. Improve the reliability of both schedule and costs

3. Anticipate problems that create risk so they can be eliminated or minimized
