Mode $06 is one of the most valuable, yet least understood and utilized applications available on most scan tools.  When properly understood and utilized, Mod $06 yields an abundance of information critical to achieving accurate diagnosis and confirmation of a repair.  John will demonstrate how to diagnose and repair OBDII vehicles using Mode $06 diagnostics.  Specifically: what is Mode $06 and why technicians should want to use it, how to find failed monitors, using pass/fail criteria to verify repairs, view misfire monitors on Fords, how to use hexadecimal code abbreviations and most importantly how to save time and make diagnostic time a profit center.
