Course code: C16
Bonded ceramic restorations have been accepted as a well performed and well researched treatment modality for replicating the appearance and function of anterior dentition. In recent years, natural new families of ceramics i.e. lithium-disilicate, alumina and zirconia have been introduced along with volumes of information not only to enhance the esthetic and longevity but also to provide strength, minimize unexpected and less desirable clinical outcomes. This presentation will examine the fundamentals of bonding ceramic restorations in light of long term clinical observations, new scientific information and new products.
