Global HR industry executives will share their experiences on balancing global and local needs to create a win-win solution for the organization. Karen Beaman will begin by describing the HR global/local landscape and describe the delicate, yet critical, need for balancing local and global needs and pressures. The panelists will then answer questions and provide real-life examples from their experiences to demonstrate solutions to some of the global HR and HR technology challenges all companies face when working globally.

Panel Moderator:
Karen Beaman, HRIP, CEO/Founder/Global Advisor, Jeitosa Group International, is an internationally recognized authority on global human resources, information technology, transnational organizational design, strategic sourcing, cultural diversity, and global leadership. She is a 2002 recipient of IHRIM's Summit Award.

Presenters:
Cathy Martineau, Manager, HRIS & Payroll Services, J.M. Huber Corporation, has global responsibility for the company's human Capital Management application system deployed across 30+ countries. She has 15+ years of experience in human resources and payroll with extensive knowledge of outsourced services.

Chris O'Neil, Director, Global HRIS and Payroll, Sealed Air Corporation, is responsible for Global HRIS and Payroll and accountable for developing the strategic direction to upgrade Sealed Air's HRIS and Payroll infrastructure. Sealed Air is currently in 50+ countries with more than half of its 17,000 employees residing outside the US.

Heather Tomer, HRIS Project Manager, T.D. Williamson, Inc. led a team of IT and HR personnel to implement Workday's Global HCM product in August, 2009. Over the last two years, she has led the launch, integration and ongoing administration of TDW's first HRIS for over 1600 workers in over 55 locations worldwide.
