Complete Dentures
Course code: C14
Complete Dentures is the most unpredictable treatment that a dentist provides for their patients. In complete dentures, you go from the wax-up to finalization and the patient does not have the opportunity to "test drive" a provisional denture. A new and sophisticated denture protocol will be presented whereby a provisional treatment denture is first constructed. The patient will wear the "training wheels" until they are happy. The provisional denture is used as a blueprint to make the final dentures. If dental implants are part of the treatment plan then the planning stage with CAT-Scans and other protocols is done while the patient is in the provisional dentures. This is presurgical prosthodontics.
