This session will detail the parts of the National Electrical Code which require adjustment of conductor ampacity for temperature. Techniques and methods of ampacity adjustment will be detailed and contrasted to original research which was used as a basis for code sections and tables used in adjustment. This presentation will additionally include a special report on current and ongoing temperature research.
