It has been seven years since the first fire-safe cigarette legislation was in enacted in New York State. The NYS legislation became model legislation which subsequently has been adopted by every state in the union. This seminar will look at the effectiveness of the legislation in terms of how it has impacted smoking material fires and review related issues and dynamics.
