F9 Liturgical Principles and the Place of Worship
Mr. Ken Griesemer
In paragraphs 27-45 of Built of Living Stones (2000) we read that the church building should be designed in harmony with church laws, serve the needs of the liturgy, foster participation in the liturgy, reflect the roles of the various participants, reflect the local culture, and be beautiful. No small task! This workshop will look at some of the principles and ideas that flow from these paragraphs and how they might be applied in new construction or renovation. This session is designed for those who are planning a building project or simply want to take a look at an existing place of worship from a new perspective.
