Moisture-related flooring problems continue to be one of the most serious and costly issues in the construction industry. In this seminar, attendees will learn where moisture that is problematic to floor covering installations originates, how it moves and how moisture-induced conditions can adversely affect floor covering materials and installations. In addition to the technical aspects of moisture migration, a number of project case studies will be presented along with means and methods to effectively determine the suitability of a concrete sub-floor to receive a moisture-sensitive flooring material.
