Jewish war graves and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. CWGC has about 24000 cemeteries world wide . The work of the Commission and of AJEX, Assosciation of Jewish ex Servocemen and Women will be described. Special reference to WW1 Jewish War Graves in Ottoman Palestine and in the British Commonwealth will be discussed with reference to ANZAC, Canadain, South African and British forces. The work of AJEX in researching wrongly marked Jewish graves, replacing crosses with Magen David markers is highlighted.
