Financial aid administrators are often required, by statute and institutional policy, to secure appropriate documentation from financial aid applicants while navigating award processes. This session will focus on acceptable forms of documentation for a variety of Title IV aid processes, including Citizenship, Professional Judgment, SAP, Verification, and Federal Work-Study eligibility. The presenters will share sample forms and institutional documentation practices, including attention to the technology used to obtain, use, and store the documentation. Session participants will be encouraged to share their best documentation practices as well.
