Living Our Values Every day is the foundation of the ICARE experience at URMC. University of Rochester Medical Center is a complex academic institution with a consistent patient census exceeding 100%, it has been imperative to address staff, faculty and trainee experience in addition to addressing the patient experience. To operationalize culture transformation, the URMC team built an infrastructure fostering interprofessional collaboration at the microsystem level and through the integration of employee and patient experience with quality, safety and operational improvement efforts ? creating an ideal platform for ongoing success.
