Well Aging:  Living a Long, Healthy Life at its Fullest, Masaski Kono, Kimiko Bokura-Shafe, Hiromi Tamaki

What is aging?  How can we enjoy long, healthy aging process while we keep improving our quality of life?

Many NLP techniques, including modeling, can provide answers and insights to these important questions.  In this presentation, NLP Medics Japan will examine aging process from 3 different aspects:

  • Belief both macro and micro levels (by Kono)
  • Authenticity and the courage to maintain it (by Bokura-Shafe)
  • Movement as life itself (by Tamaki)

This presentation is a unique opportunity to learn from experts in medical application of NLP.  We will be also sharing traditional Japnese mind/body methods.

Dr. Masaki Kono MD, Pediatritian, Psychologist, NLP Trainer; Founder, NLP Medics Japan; Director, Wakaba-Ryoikuen Hospital (Hiroshima Prefectural Medical Institution for Developmentally Challenged Children and Adults)

Dr. Kono (aka Masa) is one of the most popular, influential NLP trainers in Japan.  He runs a full-time medical practice as the director of a very successful medical institution.  He is also a highly respected expert in developmental disorders. Dr. Kono has developed many practical medical NLP applications and founded NLP Medics Japan in 2006 at the requests of his fellow medical professionals.  He and his team have taught NLP to hundreds of medical doctors, nurses, and teachers in Japan.

Kimiko Bokura-Shafe MBA, CCHT, NLP Trainer, Qigong Trainer; Director, NLP Medics Japan; Founder, KEY Institute, LLC.

Kimiko has been instrumental bridging east and west in the field of NLP.  As a trainer/organizer, she brings numerous important Japanese trainers overseas, and foreign trainers to Japan, promoting the global development and advancement of NLP.

Born and raised in rural Japan, she pioneered early in her career as one of the first female executives in multinational giants such as Procter & Gamble and LVMH (Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton).  In parallel, she has been a devoted student of NLP, hypnotherapy, and positive psychology--all leading her to Santa Cruz, where she resides. Kimiko has been running a successful global practice in wellness coaching and communication seminars since 2000.  Since 2009, she has been the managing director for NLP Medics Japan, the highly reputable organization for medical professionals.

Dr. Hiromi Tamaki, Trainer, NLP Medics Japan, NLP Institute Japan; Internist; Director, Matta Clinic, Osaka Dr. Tamaki (aka Hiro) encountered NLP in his spiritual pursuit of the meaning of life and death.  As an expert in palliative care, he faced many deaths and became aware of many doctors and nurses living with a sense of failure and survivors' guilt.  As a beginner in NLP, Dr. Tamaki did a simple Second Position with one of his deceased patients, and it opened his eyes to a new paradigm of medicine:  When there is understanding of meaning/message of illness, there is better care and healing.

Like Dr. Kono, Dr. Tamaki runs a successful full-time medical practice as the director of a popular clinic, where he often prescribes Anchoring, Position Change, Visualization, etc. just like he prescribes drugs.
