I will discuss how my research into my Dutch and German ancestors led to a chance meeting with a history professor from my grandmother's hometown in the Netherlands, the installation of a Stolperstein for her cousin, and the publication of a book about my family and this cousin's experiences in the Holocaust. A short film about the family reunion will be included in the presentation.
