This course takes encourages the listeners to consider the impact of source water on the operation of pools and spas.? It briefly covers the earth's Water Cycle to explain how various contaminants get into the water.? It also reviews the EPA drinking water standards and reveals why water that is perfectly safe to drink more often than not is far from ready to swim.? The course then considers some of the challenges faces our industry from pollution, regulations, and economic perspectives.
