Under the Trump Administration, ICE is back conducting Form I-9 audits around the country.? Contractors in the construction industry are particularly susceptible to worksite raids and being chosen for an I-9 audit.? During this session, we will discuss how to respond to a worksite raid by Immigration Customs Enforcement and properly complete Form I-9.? We will also discuss proper use of E-Verify.? Lastly, time will be spent discussing how to properly correct I-9 errors or omissions when conducting an internal I-9 audit.?This session is presented at an intermediate level.
