Keith began his career in collision repair 30 years ago as a painter and body technician where he remained as a line mechanic for 8 years before being hired by Allstate in Virginia. He worked in many roles from staff claim rep to DRP/PRO coordinator to specialty auto unit manager in the Northern Virginia and DC Markets. While there he also spent a significant amount of time working with ICAR building the ICAR program and facilitating over 6300 student units for the Northern Virginia ICAR Committee. He was recognized by Allstate as manager of the year and ICAR as Instructor of the year. In 1995 he was transferred to Allstate’s National Claim Training Center at Tech-Cor to redevelop auto technical adjuster training. The training was redesigned to be interactive using actors playing roles so that participants could experience “real life” situations improving the adjuster’s ability to communicate both technical and soft skills experiences with customers and industry professionals. In 1999 he was promoted to senior manager responsible for the Tech Cor Applied and Service research division as well as a participant in strategic planning for Allstate. He worked with CAPA developing technical standards as a member of the technical committee as well participating in many other industry activities including NACE, ASA, CIC and RCAR. He left Tech Cor to work for Intertek Engineering and was hired by Sterling last October where he functions as a Field Director of corporate compliance for the eastern US, working with Damage Analysis Managers.
