Disciples Called to Witness says "we are called to invite our missing brothers and sisters back to life in the Church." It is reported that approximately 80% of Catholics are not regularly attending Sunday eucharist. We explore innovative methods learned from the catechumenate and used to train your lay liturgical and catechetical ministers to welcome our "prodigal children" back to the feast. This session will enable participants whether ministers of catechesis or the liturgy, to combine their efforts in actively inviting and welcoming back inactive Catholics to the parish family. With the liturgy at the heart of what we do, participants will walk away with practical steps in applying the key components of Disciples Called to Witness to their community.
