This session explores the growing biopsychosocial-spiritual interdisciplinary knowledge-base rendered by epigenetics, neuroscience, bioinformatics, psychosocial genomics of healing, and clinical hypnosis. It focuses on theoretical, empirical, and clinical perspectives and data supporting an understanding that clinical hypnosis interventions influence the expression profiles of genes and their markers, as well as the gene expression modulation. In addition, this session reviews "top-down" pathways to healing and wholeness, highlighting clinically-relevant foundations of knowledge and therapeutic applications.
