We will discuss the development and impact of the ?Golden Age of Polish Jewry,? and what it meant for Jewish immigration to Poland, the concept of the Kehila, the role of the Vaad Arba Aratzot, the reaction to Shabtai Tzvi, and how the Jewish experience in Poland helped set the stage, in part, for the eventual rise of the Hasidic movement.
