Bob Caputo, CFPS, CET, Vice President Fire & Life Safety America and the President of Consolidated Fireprotection, Inc., Vista, CA. Bob has been a member of the fire protection community for more than 30 years and attended the University of Albuquerque New Mexico. He is a member of the NFPA 13 Installation TC and NFPA 25 TC and a past member of the NFPA 20 TC. As a senior member of the NFPA, AFSA and Fire Smarts Faculties, Bob has written and presented seminars and webinars throughout the USA, Europe and the far East on Fire Sprinkler System Design and Installation, Hydraulic Calculations, Plan Review, Fire Pumps Standpipes and Special Hazards. A regular speaker at AFSA's annual conventions, he is also the author of AFSA's Project Management Tools program. He was named San Diego County "Fire Prevention Officer of the Year" in 1994 and Fire Protection Contractor Magazine's Person of the Year in 1997.
