Our goal is the participants of this session will be able to utilize the suggestions and interactive discussion to assist their community, local jurisdiction, or business in the development of comprehensive emergency plans. Your participation and questions are encouraged and welcomed. We will focus on some of our experiences when developing or expanding upon emergency evacuation plans and the considerations that should be applied to various occupancy use groups such as schools, businesses, large mercantile, and residential. We will provide an overview of items we suggest you consider during the emergency planning and implementation process. One tool we will encourage you to incorporate in your process is a "mock incident or round table exercise."
