This session will feature a panel discussing questions and answers on how NFPA codes and standards are used internationally. NFPA codes and standards are adopted in the U.S. and in many other countries. International issues that will be discussed include the following: local acceptability of NFPA codes and standards, how each country’s codes are applied, how codes from different countries differ from those of NFPA, how codes are enforced, what different companies have done to comply with AHJs, positive output from past build-outs, and recommendations for NFPA.
