It’s estimated that as many as one half of the vehicles on the road today have a calibration update available for at least one electronic module on board.    Problems ranging from false OBD II codes to smelly A/C evaporators are being solved by programming in new calibration these days.  In recent years independent shop owners had to own numerous expensive factory scan tools to flash or send the vehicle back to the dealer.  Now with moderately priced J2534 universal re-flash tools on the market you can retain that business and flash away problems yourself.  Gain insights on determining if J2534 flashing is right for you, which equipment makes sense for your shop and demo a module re-flash.  Learn where to obtain free calibration update information prior to selling a re-flash and valuable information on Vehicle Theft Deterrent remobilization after a re-flash. |
