The three main models of Collaborative Practice are the attorney–only, referral and integrated team models. Each model has its proponents, and most practice groups select one of these models as its predominant one. This workshop explores the tensions between client–centeredness and the interests of the professionals in the selection of model. The workshop explores whether the Collaborative model chosen can be adaptable based on client needs and, if so, how that could be accomplished without also surrendering a process that is otherwise cohesive and stable.
