Lawyers frequently struggle with their roles in the Collaborative process, which can lead to reduced self–confidence. Many understand the "why" for their new role, but struggle with the "how" and the "what." This workshop takes participants on a personal exploration of what it means for each to be a Collaborative lawyer, looking both at internal values and fears, and at how specific actions and/or inactions help or hinder the Collaborative process. We will also have a detailed exploration of the role of the lawyer and how advocacy works in the Collaborative model.
