Assisting parents to create individualized and comprehensive parenting plans can prevent post-divorce problems and result in better outcomes for families as they transition into new family configurations. This workshop will be useful for attorneys, divorce coaches, mediators and child specialists to learn the nuts and bolts of parenting plans, making them unique to each family, and adding safety clauses as needed for special issues, such as problems with alcohol, mental illness, and other behaviors that need to be addressed.
