What is a cool roof? Has a customer’s project ever been held up because the permit office is asking for a "CRRC ID" number? As more energy and green building codes point to cool roofing as an ideal passive cooling strategy, customers have come to expect these options from their contractor.
The CRRC is here to help teach attendees how to effectively offer cool roof options to customers. The CRRC will reveal how cool roofs are measured, and how to tell the difference between various certification and rating labels on products and specification sheets. The CRRC will share free, online tools to accurately estimate possible energy savings for customer projects. The presentation will provide attendees with a solid grasp on the types of rebate programs available to help make cool roofs more affordable for contractors’ customers. The CRRC will also share upcoming changes to cool roof policies in various city, state, and international codes and green building programs so contractors can keep their businesses one step ahead of the pack. At the end of the session attendees will leave with the expertise and knowledge to confidently give their company and clients a cool future.
