1st Russian Empire Population Census 1897 was done in a whole territory of the former Russian Empire, but, unfortunately it is not preserved in a full condition by our time. In general it is in safe just in some archives. And one of it is Kiev State Archive which has the unique collection of the documents regarding former Kiev Gubernia, including such cities like Berdichev, Chernobyl, Uman and many more with mostly Jewish population. The presentation will cover the next topics: - Short history overview - The importance of this Census as the connection to the emigrant lists 1900-1925 - Overview of the information cold be found there - Finding of the unique Family History detailes - Making of the overall Russian Empire Population Census 1897 database etc.
