Presenter: Madeleine Isenberg

While a person may know Hebrew well, when it comes to providing data gleaned from a tombstone (matzeva), sometimes more attention should be paid to making sure you have the ?best data.? Using the example of Hanusovce, a town in Slovakia, what resources could or should be used to ?fill in the blanks? in data records for JOWBR. What additional information can be found and shared that reflects who the deceased was, such as: more correct spelling of family names; finding the corresponding civil name; maiden name for a woman; adding a spouse; date of birth; checking death dates. Possibly more.
