MEMOIR WRITING: A PERSONALIZED METHOD OF RECORDING FAMILY HISTORY FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS Anyone can write memoirs to preserve family history and this workshop will show you how! Many of us who have researched and written genealogical information struggle with a method of sharing their findings with our families and others in an interesting manner. In this session, participants will be presented with various styles of memoir-writing techniques, oral history, ancestral and geographic research to create a "user-friendly" family history. Resource materials and worksheets will be distributed to assist in learning this approach to tell the story of their family.
