Implementing Patient Experience Improvement Strategies Temple University Hospital restructured its Patient Experience Committee into five workgroups achieving an annual five-point increase in their HCAHPS overall score. This has resulted in a sustained increase in a total of 10 points in two years. These strategies also resulted in higher patient safety and lower readmission rates.
