The application of technology continues to help transform the way HR provides performance management and succession planning. This session will provide tips and strategies to help an organization maximize the use of a high-performing "Performance Management System" as it guides the organization through competency and goal management along with a robust succession planning process. During the session, participants will ascertain how to identify effective performance management practices to implement for organizational alignment; develop best practices for a large scale performance management process. Cindy Imber and Jennifer Webster will share tips and techniques to create a robust succession planning process across a global organization and effective system tools to build a sustainable future workforce.

Presenters:
Cindy Imber, Global HR Applications Manager, Columbia Sportswear Company, has been working with HR systems for over 14 years. She has implemented or upgraded 9 HR systems. Companies have ranged from 3000-9000 employees in Biotech, Financial Services and Retail.

Jennifer Webster, Ph.D, Training Manager, Columbia Sportswear Company, has been in the training and development field for 19 years. She has worked in both the private and public sector. Her areas of specialty include employee and leadership development.
